APDK advocates for capacity of youth to advocate for their rights. APDK in collaboration with CISU-Denmark implemented the “Ability beyond Disability” project. The project aimed at training Youth with disabilities (Ambassadors) on advocacy. The project trained 15 selected APDK staff from Nairobi branch and National office on advocacy for inclusion in the job market. The project also trained 25 parents on Economic empowerment and mentorship and further engaged 10 youth ambassadors with disabilities between the ages of 20-30 on an initiative to carry out awareness and engage in campaigns targeting various stakeholders through advocacy
